Sides and back are executed from mahogany.
The Kolb tuners as mounted on most higher end steel strings
made by Alpha are seen here and during a certain period Martin
also equipped their guitars with these Germany made tuners.
By clicking on the picture you are able to enlarge this
picture. This labels states alpha to be a part of the Martin
organization as was Levin in the mid seventies for example.
The Vega numbering on the inner heel block. These
markings however can also be found on genuine Alpha
models as after a certain period Martin ceased import
from these models to the USA.
